We are the sponsor shareholders of 2 of Bangladesh’s most prominent financial services companies: National Housing Finance PLC & Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd.
National Housing Finance PLC
National Housing Finance PLC is a private sector non-banking financial institution incorporated in August 1998. The company was established as a joint-venture undertaken by the country’s prominent corporate groups, banks, and insurance companies. The company obtained a license from the Bangladesh Bank under the Financial Institutions Act, 1993 in December 1998. The main services of the company is to finance the acquisition, construction, development and purchase of houses, plots, apartments, real estates, commercial spaces etc.
Additionally NHFIL is also involved in other activities such as accepting deposits, SME financing, project financing, lease financing & providing term loan facility to corporate clients. The authorized capital of the company is BDT 200 crore & paid-up capital of the company is BDT 128 crore. The company got listed with the Dhaka & Chittagong Stock Exchanges in 2008. It currently operates through 9 branches, covering Dhaka, Chittagong, Bogra, Rangpur, Gazipur, Feni, and Rajshahi districts.
